I am a distance runner. I came to Dr. Rajani Patil with complains of knee pain during my long runs (particularly when i run for 2+ hrs at a go). My first session started with a test of strength in my leg muscles followed by a gait analysis and at once they found out what and where the problem was. Her team consists of some very highly trained physios and doctors who really know everything when it comes to sports injuries. I was given a physio routine which i Followed meticulously and the pain went away. I continue to follow her physio routine daily as basically it's muscle strengthening. The part i liked the most was that i was not asked to cut down my running mileage ever, which is what most 'doctors' tell you to do the moment you go to them with an injury or a niggle but that is never the right approach as it doesn't address the underlying cause of your problem. I am thankful to Orthosports for making me a better runner and a stronger athlete.

In Apr ‘19, I had started to have mild pain on calf muscle, shin and knee half an hour after the run. By July ‘19 it started within just 2km of run. It was muscle pain, throbbing & shifting all over lower leg, even at rest. Knees felt very weak. In Aug, I consulted Orthosports.
